In filling out residency apps, the occupational medicine form asks for family medical history.  Could a family history of a certain illness, i.e. Parkinsons or Bipolar affect your chances of getting in? Thanks.

not sure.  i don’t think most programs see this kind of information.

An interesting and paranoid question. My first though is, “only if you include your parent’s history of Huntington’s.”
