Sorry, to ask again but there was no initial answer guys. I really need help with this one. The CAS for the SF Match states “no more, no less” than 3 letters of recommendation with the application. Is this true? Is it better to wait for better LOR’s or is it better to be early and get “personal” letters later on????

You can get three letters from your home school/early aways then you can send other ones later through your school. CAS will only distribute 3 but programs will add others to your file if you have them faxed. You’ll need the fax number of every place you’re applying to and have a secretary at your student office fax them out to all the programs. And make sure you get that secretary flowers or something.

From what I understood last year, CAS will not distribute more than 3. I had initially requested 4 (because I wasnt sure if they would all get there). SF Match called me up and made me pick, then he shredded the last one. All 3 of mine to CAS were from my school. I then got 2 other recs from my away sub-i, and distributed it to the programs myself. You can do it that way, or you can ask the secretary of the letter writer if he/she would do it. I guess your school might do it for you, but mine wouldn’t. Good luck!
